Parent and child spaces

RANT - So I was shopping the other day to get Calpol for my daughter who is just over 1 and had a slight fever. I had to take her with me as there was no one else to keep an eye on her. I just about managing to get a parent and child space (I had to drive around a session time). When going back to my car I saw a couple returning to their car. They were parked in the park and child bay. Young couple no child or blue badge. I was going to say something but they were a few cars down from me. Then on my right a man was going back to the car next to me. I thought surely he has a child with him. Nope he did not. No child no badge. So I asked 'just curious why have you parked in this bay without a child with you. You have parked in a parent and child bay' his response was I don't have to tell you. It seems like people are parking in those spaces more often without children with them and it makes me frustrated and angry as people that really need them then don't have them.

It’s one of my hates honestly, they’re specific spaces for a reason. But unfortunately there isn’t any laws round it, it’s not like they’d get fined unless the car park itself has rules x

Do you know what to do, go online get those dummy fine stickers that look like a penalty notice and every time you see car with no child seat in it, stick one on it 😂 it honestly PISSES me off so much, and I always want to leave shitty notes but obviously I have a child with me so can't. Ugh

Yes, makes me angry every time. People just being lazy and selfish. But also, there needs to be more family parking available. The car park at the shopping centre in Selly Oak only has like 1 or 2 bays and it’s a huge car park

Drives an Audi.. Prefers the space to not have the car hit I guess. It pisses me off too..
