Anyone else?

Hi, I’m due 5/5, but am in this group bc I am high risk and will have the baby in April. I had my US yesterday and it put me at 7 weeks. They also diagnosed a small 2cm subchorionic hematoma, and the yolk sac is slightly enlarged which can indicate a higher risk of miscarriage. I’m high risk bc of my age, weight, and elevated A1C(was high risk for all 3 last pregnancy as well and delivered at 37w4d). Does anyone else have any experiences with the SCH or enlarged yolk sac? Looking to hear any experience whether positive or negative.

I was told I had an 8mm x 18mm SCH at my first appointment at 8 weeks. I’m 10w4d now and they still see it but said everything is looking alright. I am experiencing some spotting.

Yes, I had a SCH at 13 weeks with my first and bled a LOT. Baby was ok and I didn’t miscarry. I put myself on bed rest for a week (instead of the 2 days the Dr gave me) while it healed and I believe the rest helped a lot. If it happened again I’d try this: https://www.functionalmaternity.com/articles/alpha-lipoic-acid-in-the-treatment-of-subchorionic-hematoma#/ Edit: I’d also add in a progesterone cream personally but you can do your research on that
