I find with SIL's it's better just to buy one big/more expensive thing. For example I bought my sister in law a silk pillowcase for her last birthday as she is big into skincare and I thought this would be a good addition to her routine. Went down a treat. I've also bought her things like expensive slippers, a big plant, big box of hotel Chocolat, a beauty advent calendar etc.x
@Josephine she's not a fan of spas she's been before. My partner would definitely not agree to a gift card
@Vicky thank you. I would usually Facebook stalk to get an idea but she doesn't have Facebook
Afternoon tea together?
I’m sorry - if your partner has such big opinions on this then he should be buying the present himself for his sister.
@Steph he doesn't buy gifts. Like at all.
@Ebony then he has no say over what you decide upon. Edit - I hope he buys you gifts.
@Steph preach! Lovely of you to help but if he wants a thoughtful gift, tell him to put some thought into it himself. X
What does she like? Could you gift her a gift card, or an experience, like a spa day?
