As above, you should only wash with water, my pH is currently off and I can tell because I don't usually have an odor but I have one currently. I can't tell you what it smells like, but it's like, sweat like musty,, even after I've just showered. I shower every day and change my underwear every day. If it smells of wee, or anything sour, your pH is deffo off. If you can, have a shower, dry your vagina and let it air whilst you sleep. Sometimes the material of our underwear can cause an unpleasant odor
I would say u have a normal healthy vg it is normal for it to smell after sex/urine however if it smells like fish or any white marks I would make apt with obgyn n you can also help by eating yogurt as it has benefits for vg And also wash undies in warm water does help instead of cold I do clean my vg with apple cider vinegar wash it helps alot but do not put soap inside if u want to now what I use I can send u what I use when I get home
Maybe youâre just noticing it more because itâs you? Honestly Iâm not even gonna lie.. i know what bad PH smells like. I had BV at the beginning of pregnancy and it set me off. As women we are ridiculed for absolutely everything, and girl it lives with us. Now i have a perfectly healthy PH balance and still when Iâm at the gym Iâll be like âwhew i can smell my vaginaâ when i open my legs to stretch after a run or something.𤣠is it a bad smell? No. Am i self conscious about it? Yes. But Iâm working on it because itâs completely natural, and itâs beautiful ⨠itâs how we were made.
@Katie No, definitely doesn't smell like fish and as I said, is not a strong or striking smell either. It's mild and more like milky sweat, I don't know how to describe it. Smells like sex smells, even if I didn't have sex for days and wash every day
@Sarah No, I know that since childhood and never clean inside. But I do use an intimate wash with probiotics for on on top
@Mimi Oh yes, I used to always wear thongs all my teenage years but the past 3 years have been often also wearing 100% cotton.
I think ur vg is good an normal than an wouldn't be to concerned of it
I would lay off the intimate wash and just use water! You might be throwing of you're natural body and irritating the skin. Even if its for a couple of weeks and see how you go. Don't have water too hot, it can irritate, treat it like the most delicate skin and area coz any kind of soap or things like that can actually irritate and throw off the pH. Aslong as you're changing underwear and having times without underwear to air it out having a break from.any product might be what you need.
Wouldnât be a bad idea to just go to the gynecologist and get tested. You might have some bacteria or something growing that you donât really know aboutđ¤ˇđźââď¸ they should be able to treat it At the very least, they can give you peace of mind if it really is nothing
Honey pot wash is sooo good!
You need to treat the fact that the Ph is off. And if youâve been with your partner long enough he will have to handle that as well. Your doctor needs to check you out if youâre being alerted by your nose.

âCleaning properlyâ is technically not allowing products inside. They can throw off your ph. My friend was diagnosed with a disorder where her vag smelled like fish, due to a deficiency or something? Iâd get labs done with a functional medicine dr to check your hormones and everything. Hope you get it worked out! And good for your manđ
