My 6yr old had/has a crush on this little boy named Apolaki. They’ve been friends, but he’s shifting into being a boys boy and she always calls his name outside and giggles and waves and he looks at her like she’s annoying 😂😂 poor girl
I had a “boyfriend” In preschool but I didnt have a crush on him, I guess I had just heard the term somewhere
My sons 4 and calls his AUNT his girlfriend😭 she’s 6 and she calls him boyfriend too lol
Also he got told off for trying to kiss another boy and at how he said it’s because it’s his boyfriend and I had to explain why we don’t kiss other children lol
My when my niece was 9 or 10 she told me “ugh I hope Josh doesn’t break up with me because I told Tom I’d get with him next and he’s a weirdo” like girl what do you mean you have your next one lined up😂😂
My daughter told me that my son who’s seven has a crush on a girl in class lol she was mad at him so that was her way of getting back at him 😂 he denied it but she swears lol.
This is my 12 year old everyday after school telling me about the boys she has crushes on vs who has crushes on her.. It started young with her, just keep encouraging her to talk bc I love the transparency with my daughter
@Ella now that you mention it, I'm not really sure where they get that from 🤔 like what do they think that means?
@Tiff aw friendship bracelet removed 😾 it's okay, that's how every cute romance starts
@Rebecca I wonder where we all got that from!
@Lydia lol that'll be funny to remind them of later on 😂 my daughter says she wants to marry her cousin lol
@Lara she's got a whole roster, good for her 😂😂😌
@Raven🇵🇸 look under the bed for the cute drawings!! That's something I definitely did to my older brother lol
@Allie that's how I feel about it too! The start of a blossoming friendship lol

I don't know where from, but probably older kids. I had never used the word boyfriend or girlfriend around him, but one day he came home and announced X was his girlfriend 🤣
My 5yo briefly had a girlfriend in his class but had no idea of the concept really. I didn't encourage it per se, just said it's fine to play with girls and make friends with them
