2nd+ Timers…

What are you buying for second time round you didn’t first time? Or if on 3+ what did you buy which was a lifesaver second time? Trying to make a list. Obviously have loads already but for example I want to pick up a second hand bassinet for downstairs naps, any other suggestions would be great!

I’m having my 2nd baby, I’m not getting a prep machine it’s easier just to use cold water and hot. I am going to get a rapid cool. I’m skipping the small bottles and going straight for big ones because the small ones you barley get use out of I’m not getting a bouncer just a swing for downstairs Not going overboard with clothes this time

@Natalya Oh agree, we got the prep last time but had a refluxy baby so avoided using it, might sell it to be honest as we might just EBF this time anyway! Already have a bouncer so that’s taken care of, been to town on Facebook marketplace 😅

@Madeleine we never used our bouncer😂😂 we used the baby swing all the time but the bouncer we ended up giving away

Also not bothering with the little bottles, and I'm going to make sure I have things like calpol, invacol, a nose suction thing, all ready so I don't have to panic if I don't have any the first time we need it, for me I'm not bothering with maternity pads, adult nappies to start with then nighttime pads as they are the same absorbency at half the price, and I'm gonna get a proper peri bottle and not use a jug this time lol

@Sarah have you tried the purple lil lets maternity pads?? They’re only £2 and are so much better than any pad I’ve used I use to use them for periods too
