I wouldn't be writing yourself off yet. I also had bleeding in early pregnancy, much more common in IVF. I would test using strip tests tomorrow and then again 2 or more days later and see if the line is getting darker. Does your clinic offer interval bloods 2 days apart to check for rising Hcg?
I’m not sure whether it does or not. We are funding it all privately so I’d happily pay. I might give them a call in the morning. We are booked in for a scan in 3 weeks. I think I’ll send myself crazy if I test that often. I will probably just test again a week apart because let’s face it, sadly, there’s not actually anything you can do at this stage is there. God this process is BRUTAL! 🩷
Hi, first of all I really hope everything will be okay 💕 but maybe see if you can get an ultrasound or blood work? Personally, I bled quite a bit at 5weeks, and then spotted until my 9th week because I had a subchorionic hematoma. My clinic told me they’re super common with IVF pregnancies. As long as there’s no major clots and you’re not filling a pad under 2hrs, they told me it was normal amounts of bleeding. Wishing you the best, I know how stressful it can be 💕
Bleeding is very common in ivf. I had a chemical 2 years ago and got my negative test a couple days after my positive test.
From what I read and seen from women experiencing IVF, that it is more common for bleeding when you conceive via IVF and you can still go on to have a healthy pregnancy. If anything, I would say ring your doc to inform them and get your hcg levels check. As long as they are doubling every 48 hrs, then you should be fine. Fingers crossed for you. I have just started my first ivf cycle so I wish i had more information for you.
