My 19 month old has been doing the same thing for the last few months. She’s more a snacker than a meal eater and even then it’s hard to get healthy food into her. She goes to daycare 3 days a week so I know she eats well there but 99% of the time we make up omelettes for dinners and she loves those.
Yes and can be totally normal! My partner wanted to take our first to the doctor because he was so worried about this lol I love to see the videos on instagram of “how to raise a baby who eats everything” and it’s about a 1 year old, like yeah wait a couple of months and it’s going to start getting thrown onto the floor pal We just tried to make sure we did give all of ours a lot of what they liked, and I got really good at disguising food too, like chocolate bean muffins which my kids love I put chia seeds, organ powder, and bone broth into literally everything I make and I bake a lot, like zucchini and apple muffins, pumpkin bread, banana and oat muffins, sweet potato cakes, beetroot pancakes, chickpea truffles etc. so what they are eating is all sweetened with honey or dates and most have greek yoghurt too, everything has vegetables and protein, so no they might not be eating a ton of dinner or a proper meal but I know they are at least getting the nutrition they need
