Antenatal class recommendations

Hi everyone! I’m 4 months pregnant with my first and based in Bicester. I’m looking to book my antenatal classes asap but so unsure about where to go. I’ve only found one decent option (NCT) in Bicester and there’s a couple in Oxford. Any recommendations? (Bicester or Oxford) Thanks ☺️

We're in Bicester and did bumps to babies. It's run by a local midwife and was really good

I haven't bothered with NCT or the ones you pay for as we were trying to save for mat leave and people I know who have for NCT previously said it was more a social thing than educational.. You can do free online antenatal classes through Oxford Maternity Services which are educational and run by midwives that work in the trust so can answer questions about how things work in the trust and are up to date with their policies as well x

We did the NCT and I am so glad we did. I didn’t expect it to be as helpful as it was. It was particularly helpful to my husband who is less familiar with babies. Also, it was much less preachy than I expected. Our group leader was very down to Earth and not at all “breast feeding and natural birth are the only right way” which is what I feared.
