Bottle aversion on Aptamil pepti 1

Has anyone's baby decided they just won't drink the milk anymore? My LB is 4 months, he's been on pepti one since around 5 weeks old. He's decided in the last 5 weeks to gradually get worse in terms of how much milk he'll take. Now he has x6 bottles per day but only taking between 2 and 4oz mostly occasionally he'll do the 6. He's never had an issue with the taste of the milk but my HV said to try vanilla.. it worked for 2 bottles and now he's back down to taking 1oz or 2. He also either doesn't cry for a bottle (yesterday went 5 hours and still wasn't bothered) or he will scream hysterically and then when his bottle is ready, he chews the teat. I have also tried the next teat size. I'm waiting on our dietician appt.. I'm to ring them tomorrow to book a telephone call. Just wondering if anyone else has been through this or if anyone's dietician advised them on this so I have an idea what to expect. Thank you 😊

This happened to us and I think it’s just a phase. My baby is 9 months old and still drinks 3oz per bottle sometimes. My baby also never cries for a bottle. At the time I used to get really stressed out about it but now I’m a bit calmer. Your baby will drink as much as they need and is probably not wanting milk due to teething. 15 mins before offering the bottle, give him some teething gel to help his gums feel a bit better if he has other signs of teething. Also change your environment - my baby will only drink bottles if we’re in his room with the white noise on and no distractions 🤷‍♀️
