@Diana mine is mostly on my left side, I'm fairly certain it's something to do with the scar tissue but the doctor didn't even try to explain anything, never mentioned anything about scar massage, how does this work? How do we do it? 🤦‍♀️ I'm just fed up of being in pain constantly, especially at night when I'm getting up to make my baby his bottles
@Nikita doctors are useless with women’s health. In my area you can self refer to women’s health physio, I’ve just done this and have an assessment next week. They will look at all your pelvic floor and suggest exercises to help. Defo worth checking out if you can in your area! If you look on YouTube for c section scar massage there are lots of resources that come up, it’s meant to help break down the scar tissue xx
I talked to my GP about pain and he referred me to get an ultrasound just to be on the safe side. Perhaps you can push for this? They have to take you seriously after such a major surgery!! (I was all fine but so happy to get the check)
@Sofie I'll ring them again tomorrow and hopefully speak to a different doctor that can refer me for it, I'm not one to moan about pain as I already suffer from chronic pain but this is taking me out
I sometime have a dragging feeling inside, I was told by my GP it means I’ve over exerted myself and to take it easy
@Jacqueline that would make sense as I'm doing everything by myself 🤦‍♀️
Honestly mine got infected and is still at 11 weeks pp, it opened at 6 weeks pp and the doctors just don’t care! Struggling so much to get better and crack on with life when my body is so much of a problem :(

I’m 8 weeks PP and I’m still in pain every day. My ab muscles are also shot … I struggle to sit up in bed without support as I just feel so weak. My pain is mainly located on the right hand side, and definitely gets worse with activity. I’ve been told scar tissue could be causing the pain and to do scar massage
