Preparing for labour

What are things that can be done to prepare for labor and when can/should they be started? I know of a couple but not sure when/how to start them: -Drinking pineapple juice -Eating dates -Drinking raspberry leaf tea -Using primrose oil capsules -Drinking okra water

Perineal massage (it sucks) can reduce your risk of tearing and can be started anytime in your third trimester. It’s recommended 10 minutes a day and you can get a massage oil to help the process.

In addition to your list.. Stretching/yoga, miles circuit, birth ball circles all of them have videos on YouTube you can look up :)

Start eating dates after 36 weeks and raspberry leaf tea after 34 weeks

When should start eating dates? And raspberry leaf tea?

Does anyone have tips for eating dates? I think they’re awful even doctored up with peanut butter and chocolate 😅

@Emily you can do a smoothie! Dates with banana, some vanilla extract and milk of your preference. Hope this helps.

@Emily they made me gag so bad!😭 I've been wrapping them in a tortilla with peanut butter and banana and it's helped so much

@Selena I’ve tried throwing them in a smoothie but I can’t get them to blend properly! 😅
