Sweaty Baby 🥺
Needing some advice on how to dress my baby for bed. We keep our home around 70° to 74° fahrenheit. He sleeps in the room with us with the fan on. Our baby is 7 days old.
I was worried he was gonna get cold, so I did a long sleeve and long pants onsie with a swaddle. The next morning he was drenched in sweat.
I then tried short sleeves, leg less onsie with socks on both hands and feet, then swaddle. Woke up in sweat.
So this time I tried without the swaddle, but he gets fussy because he's not being swaddled. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Also, just get a few different tog sleep bags or swaddles for the different temps
My baby was in the NICU and they said to keep the house between 68-72, so he may be too warm at 73-74. Also when he was too warm I would do just a swaddle with no onesie. I would use a blanket one rather than the one with a zipper so it wouldn't be uncomfortable against his skin.

I just search “how to dress baby for bed” and check. My son is 7 months old and I still use them as a guide
