Vet your daycare intensely, and not just once but constantly. Former daycare teacher here. All it takes is a new teacher in charge or a new director or whatnot for everything to go horribly downhill quick. Oh and check their status with the state to make sure they're not on heightened monitoring or anything. No way to prevent her getting sick though. I'd be more concerned about real preventable injuries
There’s no way to prevent from getting sick when she will be around others kids that will be sick. My nieces and nephew stay getting sick bc of daycare and school
Daily probiotics and some elderberry syrup to try and keep the sickness away. The baby will cry when you leave at first. Just leave anyways. Dont spend 5 min going back and forth and talking them through it. Do that in the ride there.
Illness is just part of more exposure. So beware. My husband & I & my 1st son were sick allllll the time the 1st yr my son started daycare at 2 y.o. Best you can do is implement good hygiene/sanitary practices & any other adults/kids at home, ramp up Vitamin C & keep yourselves as healthy & well as you can to maybe prevent yourselves from getting sick or being sick for long.

Communicate everything with her teacher over the director ! Just to make sure y’all stay on the same page with no miscommunication!!
