Daddy is just as much her parent as you and I think he now has to learn to settle her and you have to allow him the opportunity to learn. Children also behave differently when their mums aren’t there - so you’d be surprised how your baby is when you are not around. I’d offer a breast feed then go to the gym. I don’t know if you offer expressed milk; if so I’d pump and have some in the fridge as back up if she wakes before you are back. If you’ve never left her it will feel hard emotionally to do but it’s possible. Your self care is important so I hope you make it to the gym.
@Dianne My boobs dont pump out milk even though im sure i have a slight over supply, so she has to be breast fed. We tried to get her formula for when i cant feed her but recently she refuses formula so it looks like i cant go. She wont eat otherwise unless its boob
@Keona most EBF babies know instantly it’s not breast milk and flat out reject it. Even when you smell it compared to breast milk it’s so different. I would look at changing your breast pump if you have one; making sure it’s the right size etc - or try to hand express into a bottle. If those options don’t work - YouTube some home workouts and if you weight train you can buy some Amazon weights and start there till she’s bigger and can be left.
@madison I doubt itll work but ill have a look!! thank you!
