I don’t know which one works but I know which one doesn’t (for me). I got pregnant using IUD copper so I’m not doing that again after I have my first baby.
I was on the copper IUD for 5 years. If I was going to have a gap, I would do copper IUD again. 1 in 1000 chance of getting pregnant. Which if I remember correctly has the lowest odds. Every contraceptive has a risk of getting pregnant on it. Just pick which method works best for you.
I took the pill for 9 years and didn't have any issue with weight or any other side affect. I will be restarting once I'm 8 weeks post partum
@Diana which pill were you on?
