It's usually a sign of a weird growth spurt or teething. My son literally went from 9-12 month clothing to 2-3 toddler sizes, sometimes size 3-4. I have no idea where it came from he just kept growing lol, we were lucky his cousin is 5 and has just grew out of those clothes so we had some for emergencies whilst we got him some actual outfits

@Leah it could be teething but he’s been teething for ages and no sign of teeth and he’s nearly 11m! Oh wow your LO has grown loads
My son has been teething since about 4 months roughly (I panicked and took him to the doctors thinking he had ulcers) and he's only recently had a lot of teeth come through. In the span of a month he's now got 8 teeth in total. And I know he just doubled in size over a month and he was such a small newborn lol, I don't think it'll be as extreme but this is usually a time where they tend to be less "baby" and start becoming more toddler which means a lot of growth normally
