Any idea how to baby proof this?

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can baby proof these drawers? My baby pulls them open and I’m so terrified he will put his fingers inside and trap them in there if he shuts the drawer accidentally. I’m watching him constantly at the moment so can move him away when he goes there but I feel like it’s an accident waiting to happen 🙈 any help greatly appreciated! He’s 9.5m.

You can get drawer locks from boots that stick on, they might work if you put them on the side of the drawer but they'll probably ruin the drawers as they're mirror. I'll see if I can find a link to the ones we have

Thanks so much @Laura

@Kimberley oh wow these look amazing! Will definitely buy them when my LG starts crawling x

My son only got his hand caught once before he stopped opening my drawers. You just have to let it happen for them to learn

I agree with @Ellie my son gets into everything.. I watch him very very closely. He smashed his hand in a drawer once hard enough to scare but not hurt, and he is much more careful now. If it would have genuinely hurt I would have rescued of course. His screams where aggravation not pain. He was mad that the drawer took his fingers 😂 he got them out on his own slammed the drawer shut and off he went 🤷🏼‍♀️ I use the same principle for learning new skills. Builds their confidence and they learn about their limits.

I won’t be putting anything on that and potentially ruining the gorgeous finish I’d just have a box inside of random items he can play with like scarves, belts etc that you can pull it out and they can play with whenever they need to be in the room w you…I didn’t babyproof anything I just taught him what he can and can’t touch and he slowly learnt.
