Baby not rolling

My baby girl has just turned 7 months old and is still not rolling either way! I’m freaking out about it as not rolling by 6 months is classed as a developmental delay. She has never been a huge fan of tummy time due to reflux but I have persisted and try to find ways to help her enjoy it or at least tolerate it without screaming the entire time. I feel like I’ve done and continue to do everything to support her development so I’m feeling lost with what to do next. She is a big baby both height (in 91st percentile) and weight (75th percentile) and I don’t know if this is hindering her as all the other babies I see her age at classes are much smaller and look more agile than she is. She is hitting all the other milestones and has no problem with holding and passing objects, babbling a lot and making all the right sounds, is trying to sit on her own and can balance for a minute or so. Has anyone experienced delayed rolling and have any advice about how I can help her progress?

Hey! I’m in the same boat as you! My little can pretty much do everything yours can apart from roll. She was 6 months on the 23rd! I guess we just gotta keep doing tummy time and exercises to help encourage them! Sending lots of love. You’re doing great Mumma!💗

Don’t worry, my little boy didn’t roll until 8 months and didn’t hit any of his other milestones either, he was diagnosed with global developmental delay and has now reached everything! He’s such a happy kid, they do just take their time sometimes. Xx

My lb is now 8.5months, he started crawling at 6.5months and then rolling a few weeks later. He still hardly rolls he’s not interested as he does other stuff. I spoke to my hv about it before he was crawling etc as I was worried he wasn’t doing that but hitting other milestones either on time or early- she actually said if they get to 10months then they are concerned but at the time it didn’t matter. Every baby is so different they will do things at their own speed try not to worry too much as it sounds like you are doing everything to encourage the rolling. X

My daughter hated tummy time with passion, only ever rolled one way at 8 months. She crawled by 9 months and walked by 14 months, I’m sure your baby is absolutely fine x

My first didn't roll until 8 months. She crawled before she rolled. Once she realised how cool crawling and rolling was as a combo she didn't stop.

I wouldn’t worry at all, it seems like she is a happy and healthy baby to me 🥰 all babies are different and do things at their own pace. You’re doing great mama ❤️
