Baby kicks

I’m 20 weeks and can’t tell if I’m feeling baby kicks, gas, or my own heartbeat. Has anyone else felt baby movements this early? What do they feel like?

At first it’s like a little butterfly in your belly (flutters) (mine started right at 20 weeks) Then when it gets stronger I described it as when you get a fish from a pet store in that bag- it’s like the fish hitting against the bag😂 very light but a little jolt of something! It will come and you’ll fully see them kicking you 😂

I thought I wasn’t feeling it. Buttt apparently it does kind of feel like gas. I feel like it feels like bubbles or Balloons popping. Or the fish in a bag works too. I had to ask my step mom, and she said yup, feels like you have tummy rumbles but… in specific spots. Once they get stronger, should/will be more obvious of a “kick” or movement.

I turned 20 weeks yesterday and felt the slightest punch

21 weeks now and I started feeling flutters at 16 weeks. He’s always super active so I was able to recognize his movements. I think of it as an internal massage in your belly if that makes sense lol. He’s never not moving.

I started feeling a flutter at 20 weeks!

I kind of like if you were to stroke your skin back and forth with a feather? But inside

i felt flutters around 16 weeks, i’m 22 weeks now and feel her pretty consistently! you’ll start to recognize them more and more and be able to differentiate better.

I’m starting to wonder if what I think is my heartbeat is actually baby!

I felt babys first movement recently the day after my anatomy scan, baby was very active in the womb. I would describe it as muscle spasm for me lol I’m 20w3d. It kept happening on the upper side of my stomach, it wasn’t gas bc I wasn’t passing gas. I also have a Doppler not a super expensive one and when I listen to heartbeat I also hear other things which could be the baby moving

Sooooo I’ve definitely felt like what I would describe as a punch from the inside. Thanks everyone for sharing your experience so I could tune in better!
