Lack of hunger, slight spotting and mild cramps?

I have called my midwife to just query the spotting and have been told to currently keep an eye on it along with paracetamol for the cramps. Assuming the "cramping" is just growing as I'm almost 20 weeks, but doesn't really feel like the ligament pains that I was getting previously. I was spotting, noticed once this morning and has since stopped. Has anyone else had anything like this?

I get a cramping almost like period feeling sometimes, my lower belly feels really heavy. I’m 21 weeks today. But deffo if you are worried go get it checked out. Can never be too safe. Have you had your scan yet ? Hope everything’s okay 💙

I have had fresh bleeding since 18 weeks, went to the hospital A&E every week for checks and was told everything is fine and couldn't identify any cause of bleeding.. I'm now 22 weeks and finally stopped for 2 days.. I agreed with Rosie, if you are worried just walk to the emergency department for checks.. Hope everything is fine xx

I’ve been getting mild period cramps in this pregnancy on and off. More so the past few days. I’m currently 18+5. The spotting can be normal and typically from cervical irritation. Sex or anything of that nature can bring that on. I had some bleeding with my daughter around this time and it was only one day and super light. Just keep an eye on it, if you’re still concerned and not settling you can call back and ask to be seen for peace of mind x

Thanks all, I have my 20 week scan on Monday and have been calling triage for their advice. They're not worry but have said I can call back if worried. Spotting has stopped now, so I feel a bit better. I'll see how I get on 😊

I had on and off spotting at 10 weeks and then for a month straight when I got to 13 weeks. I was constantly back and forth to the hospital. I had to push but got referred to Gynae that confirmed I had a cervical ectropion which apparently is really common in pregnancy and there is nothing to stop the bleed. May be worth asking for the referral even if it’s for a peace of mind. I’ve not had it since so maybe the stress of it was making it worse.
