Transitioning from breast milk to cow milk

Does anyone have any tips, I already mix 1 oz of cow milk with 4 oz of breast milk and she doesn’t like it, it smells and probably taste different, I also gave her straight whole milk and she didn’t drink it. I have been trying for almost 2 weeks and not luck and my breast milk is almost finish

I’d try goat’s milk. It tastes closer to breast milk imo

When we started transitioning the doctor said keep trying over a month little by little. For example - 75 BM 25 Whole milk for a week then 50/50 for a week and 25 BM & 75 Whole milk until you’re fully 100% whole milk. Maybe keep trying mixing it if you only tried the one time try to mix it again. It’s annoying bc if they don’t drink it then you might end up wasting that liquid gold. 🥲

I just went straight from formula to warm cows milk. My daughter doesn’t drink milk unless it’s warm lol

When I switched my son over to whole milk, I did it cold Turkey. But I think he just didn't like the brand? I switched to Horizon and he loves it!

Okay so weirdly my son didn’t have a problem switching to whole milk when I didn’t nurse him. But my daughter refused every other type of milk until one day I tried organic milk and she instantly drank it. Like sucked it down and that’s the only milk she’ll drink and she knows if it’s not organic because she’ll refuse to drink it. So I have one kid who drinks whole milk and one who only accepts organic milk 😅
