Reflux baby mamas
My little one is 9 weeks he's on omprazole 3ml but he still only wants to take between 3.5-4 oz per bottle I feel like he ahouod be going up ? He also weighs 10 pound 11
Any tips on how to get him to enjoy his milk more what could I do??

Is it formula or expressed milk? Apparently if it's breast milk they don't need more than 4oz as the milk adapts to the needs of the baby x
He is taking the correct amount for his weight. My son weighs 5.5kg and takes 4oz. If he’s putting on weight I wouldn’t worry

Sorry to hear he’s struggling ❤️🩹 Best you can do is ease the discomfort as much as possible. Keep him as upright during feeds; pause to burp him 2-3 times per feed (e.g every 30ml); burp after feed; keep him upright for 20-30 min after his feed. Sometimes the omeprazole dosage can be hit and miss, if still not working ask a GP to review the dosage
