I used to mix mine with yoghurt on a teaspoons, so half antibiotics and half yoghurt. If that failed then I just added it to a very small bottle of milk, it’s diluted a little but it still worked and cleared the infection. Worth a try :)

My son was having back to back ear infections and refused the medication. He would force himself to puke it out. Here’s what we did- There are ear wax funnels that are made of wax. You can get them at the vitamin cottage or sprouts. Follow the directions on the packaging. My son never sits still so we had to hold him while he watched a movie. We also do it ourselves so he started to let us do it to him after watching us. We did that once a day for three days and kept his ears covered if we left the house. After this, he hasn’t had an ear infection.

I saw a mom use that water enhancers and got just a little flavoring in there to help. Or use a applesauce packet to cover the syringe and squeeze it in that way. Bribe with candy or something do whatever you can think of to get them to take it because I used to give those shots to the kids and I'll tell you right now it's like syrup thick and it burns! It is not fun for anyone involved so try whatever you can to get them to take the medicine because once that first round of shots happen you will have an even harder time getting them back for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. That shot also goes by the weight of the child and usually has to be split into two shots one in each leg, if your lucky one shot in one thigh and then altered to the other thigh the next day. I wanted to cry for the parents and the children when I got told to draw it up. 😭
