Bottle feeding question

Hi everyone. Stupid question perhaps but… My baby and I have been put on a feeding plan and I need to give him a couple of bottles during the night. Have read to save time, I could have a flask of hot water ready for when I need to make the bottle. Therefore my question is … should I boil the water and then put it straight in the flask for later. Or do I boil the water wait 30 minutes (like I would when making a bottle) and then put it into the flask? Apologises if this is a stupid question.

I always put it straight Into the flask x

Boil & then straight into flask

I personally have always made feeds up in advance for overnight to save time! As long as u cool down and put straight into the fridge it's fine

I second Rebecca's approach, especially if your baby takes bottles straight from the fridge

Have you tried a room temp bottle ? I’m not sure where you are located but when my son was first born I had a heated water dispenser (from Amazon) used it up until 6 months and then transitioned to room temp bottles which is just using distilled water from a jug right into the bottle. It made night feedings so much easier

Warm milk is meant to be better for their digestion. I used hot water from a flask and the nuby rapid cool

I had a flask of cool boiled water and then just did a hot shot from the kettle when needed (takes less than a minute for a kettle to boil but no reason why you couldn’t have a hot flask and a cold one by the bed if you didn’t want to get up)
