I would press your physician to refer you to a specialist to get down to what's really going on.
@Al Co I have many times. They don't listen to me at all. So I'm trying to self diagnose things. They won't even do blood work
This absolutely infuriates me. I hate that in 2024, women are still in a place where we aren't listened to when it comes to our health💔😑🤦🏾♀️😡🤬 Is there any way you can switch to another provider? I'm in the Bay Area, and we have numerous options. I understand that's not available everywhere, but are there any other of the box ideas that anyone can come up with?❤️🙏🏽
@Al Co I've seen a few doctors. Even paid to see some just because my insurance won't cover other drs. I just moved to Oregon recently from texas. So I am hoping to find a doctor who will listen. 🤞 But I have been waiting for insurance to kick in. I just got it two days ago.
Please keep me updated. I have a friend who just moved up there from CA. How long have you been there?
@Al Co a few weeks now. Insurance was slowwww and they wanted everything under the moon lol 😆
Hello 😊 There's a lot of confusing misinformation out there from all sorts of sources. Our M-brace The Change support groups (here on Peanut and on FB) give straightforward easy to understand evidence-based information. Our Symptom Handbook should be useful at this point: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hk8DpLZEiPkax3QzoI1boKFibjnuHBAl/view?usp=drivesdk It also has good basic info about what menopause is/isn't, ways to control symptoms, a symptom checklist, and details of thec34 symptoms most commonly used in diagnosis. I hope that's helpful. 🙂🧡
