Do you see yourself as a people pleaser?

I’m officially a recovering people pleaser! Do you see yourself as a people pleaser? If anyone has any recovery tips or strategies for people pleasers please share! Here is some extra background: I saw myself as a people pleaser for years and it wasn't a "problem". However, it's become super clear to me after becoming a mom that constantly putting everyone else’s needs ahead of mine was a bad habit and not sustainable. I'm curious if others see their people pleasing holding them back from self-care?

As a recovered people pleaser I've learned so much about the costs of putting others needs before my own. It’s why I created an experiential series to support others to stop people pleasing and start prioritizing themselves, while still showing up for the people they care about. 💚

@Johanna wow! It's great to know that it's possible to recover from being a people pleaser. Inspiring! Yes, as the years are passing I'm realizing the negative impacts of my people pleasing habit add up for sure!

Start saying no, realize your needs are just as valid as others’ needs, AND…you’re not as vital as you think you are 😉meaning whatever it is that they’re asking you to do that seems like can *only* be accomplished if YOU drop everything and do it right now…yeah, usually not the case. I guarantee if you start saying no, they’ll figure something else out.

Nah I can be a bit of a bitch Try to be more selfish and say no whenever you want to!

@Jessica , @Mariah , @Ella -- love these tips! ❤️
