I was contacted the next day so maybe just give them a prompt.
It depends on the trust if you're in the UK. I found out 3 working days after mine which was 5 days later....and on my birthday so fun day for me not
Mine told me I’d hear back by end of next day, but it actually took 2 days in the end. Probably just depends on where they send it for testing. I’d say above three days just give them a call to confirm. Mine said if you don’t hear you’re fine which I bloody hate as a way of working.
I had results back the next day on the NHS app! x
@Amanta you must have an efficient GP and NHS trust my one still isn't showing me results from blood tests I had done over a month ago! My GP very much takes the when we can be bothered approach
My reading before and after with the finger prick would have shown a fail but I passed it, the readings were way off so I don't necessarily think they are as reliable.
I was told to call up the next day and given a number. I never did because I had a midwife appointment the next day and the results were there. Mine was 7.5 and inwas advised to watch my sugar intake . This baby likes sweet stuff and not veggies but I am trying
@Holley normally unless there's something wrong they won't call you. You have to ring up
I got mine the next day but that’s because I had growth scan and consultant so they told me then
I tested for weeks before my 16 week GTT had high fasting g numbers some.high after food, etc etc. Then passed my GTT 😅 I was super surprised. Kept doing some random testing and again, levels were high. Tested my own fasting before my 26 week gtt and it was 5.7, and afterwards was 9.8my resuit's actually came back as fasting 5.2 and afterwards were 7.8! So it seems the capillary testing may not be as accurate as their blood test..I was however diagnosed at 26 weeks and am now on insulin for my fasting. I found out I thibk 3 days after my test x
