I’ve waited until I can hear there’s no one at the taps then popped out and used the hand soap to wash it at the sink quickly. Feel like it’s one of those that more women would feel comfortable doing if they saw more women doing it!
It wouldn’t offend me at all, I imagine the older generation might just be curious as to what it is. I totally agree with Vickie above it should be something everyone feels comfortable with, but I don’t think it will be. Sorry I had no advice, I just came to say, use the sinks, I’d have no issue anyway x
I don't use them personally but totally get where you're coming from with the tampon issue 🤦♀️😅 I think if you can it would be better to rinse it with a water bottle into the toilet. I wouldn't say it's an offensive thing to clean it in the sink, but could be perceived to be unhygienic.
I've used one for years and now pair it with reusable pads or period pants for extra comfort/ protection. I either have a bottle of water and rinse over the toilet or use the disabled toilet x
