I warm the milk and add some formula. It could be a taste thing. I also water it down. I try food and water first and then milk. I’m still trying to get him to eat as much as he should be though too. 😭
My first born hated milk too. She never took to it. Shes almost 3 and still won’t drink milk. Ask your pediatrician, but mine said as long as she was eating a variety of solids well, drinking water for fluids, that it was totally fine and to just supplement with vitamin d drops.
Have you tried mixing it with the formula/breastmilk so they get used to the taste? I recently saw an IG post with some replacement ideas for babies who don’t like whole milk!
@Deanna Yes I have! He immediately knows there's cows milk in it even though he's now on toddler formula that is whole milk 😭 Trying everything honestly he just has super human senses🤣
$8 a gallon still beats formula prices in my head, I was paying $45 a can 😂 #girlmath I give my baby the horizons lactose free so it’s a bit easier on their tummies too. I switched a few days ago to whole milk and I was crying with him he wouldn’t stop crying for 4 hours straight. And as far as the weening, I would only give him that milk during bedtime, and I would give him Formula the rest of the feedings and then once the Formula finished, I just gave him regular milk
