Reality check, do the math with me

Party 1 Monthly income 3,300 1800 rent 600 child care 250 car insurance Party 2 2,500 Contributes to 500 to household (a month). Everything else runs on Party 1 pocket. Does the math add up here???? Listed for Party 1 the biggest expenses. Party 1 is still responsible to do the grocery shopping and paying all house bills.

I feel like things should be split

And maybe still let party 1 grocery shop but main things should be split

Only if the party 2 is the child of party 1. Otherwise every expense should be split equally, so there are no hard fillings

And I’m sure he still behaves as if he’s Head of Household. I’m so over men these days.

That math doesn’t work if Party 2 is supposed to be an adult. Major shared expenses should be split, including groceries. Party 2 eats those groceries, yes? They should be paying for them. The only exception I can think of is if Party 2 is handling the vast majority of child care and house chores in the house. Then there might need to be a more in-depth evaluation/negotiation. If not, Party 1 is straight up being taken advantage of.
