It’s EXACTLY the same. They can’t advertise first insane formula as ‘breast is best’ so 6 months plus was made so they can advertise and promote their formula. You can keep your baby on first formula the whole time should you wish too.
Have you tried savers online?
If you'd like to continue using Stage 1 you could try the subscription option on their website, this is how we are doing it. I did lose track of our supply though and get stuck without stage 1 and had to switch to stage 2 overnight as the local shops didn't have stage 1. I would definitely transition though, people say they are the exact same but if you compare the ingredients listing the balance is different. The protein type proportion is different and there is less/more of certain nutrients such as iron. We didn't transition my girl slowly and definitely saw the effects on her belly so if you have the option I would recommend slowly transitioning
@Lauren all out of stock in my area
@Louise they aren’t accepting new subscriptions in their website
I’ve only got one tub left so I feel like I won’t be able to transition longer enough?
You can subscribe on the Kendamil website but I know at the moment they have paused new customers due to demand. Customers did receive an email saying they’re aware that there are issues with stock and they’re doing their best to make it more available. Just FYI - local Tesco Express and Co-op’s do not keep Kendamil out on the shop floor, because it gets stolen. So if you see none on the shelf, ask a member of staff and they’ll get it from the back for you. Both of my local Tesco express do that and they’ve always had it for me every time I’ve needed it. Iceland apparently stock it, and also sell it for cheaper too which I never knew. Also try your local Boots and Superdrug if you can xx
@Becky thank you! I’ll go out today and take a look round☺️
When I’ve changed with my 1st and 2nd I’ve never transitioned. I just did a straight swap. There all basically the same anyway x
We are in kendamil and we switch between first and first organic! We find Sainsbury’s has good stock usually! You are unable to subscribe via kendamil at the moment due to stock issues. You can buy two tubs from a store. Or ask friends and family to grab if they see when out. I do feel your pain as we’re the same with our 6 week old of trying to get it!
i always do Superdrug click + collect occasionally they are out of stock but sometimes i check Trolley.co.uk app although its used to compare prices it tells me where kendamil is sold to check the stock :)
We are the same but luckily randomly Sainsbury’s had loads the other day! And Waitrose but everywhere else in 3 different towns sold out most days, you can just slowly transition baby however stage 2 only has like more iron etc so not a huge difference so should be absolutely fine after a few days or even the organic one
After 6m you can alternate between stage 1/stage 2 so I’d imagine it shouldn’t cause much upset
I think any switching of formula you’ll want to slowly transition
