He did start a new nursery in September too he was ok the first 2 weeks but since then he’s hist having so many accidents. That’s reassuring that the reward chart worked for you, I had thought about getting the sticker chart back out so maybe I’ll give that a go first. Thank you so much for replying 😊
My daughter is going through similar, she just won't use the toilet for poos no matter what I try or rewards I show her that she will get. At the moment we use puppy liners on the sofa and she has to sit on those now because trying to wash cushions everyday is draining.
@Jade it is draining, the amount of washing we have to do. I honestly thought toilet training wouldn’t be so bad but I’ve hated every second of it, it’s so stressful 😞
It is, my son I got done in a week but my daughter just won't! All I can suggest is just buy cheap clothes that you don't mind throwing away and hopefully 1 day they will go 🙄 chin up your not alone 😊
Mine was doing better for wees and poos were hit and miss. But today at nursery she had 3 wee accidents which she hadn’t done for a few weeks and they put her in nappies. It’s so frustrating. We took her out yesterday and she refused to go in the changing rooms so weed in her nappy. Not sure how to manage this. Glad I’m not the only one struggling with potty training.
Has anything in his routine changed since September? My son had pretty much cracked it since Easter, even nights were mostly dry and then in august he started a new nursery and he just regressed massively. I knew he was capable of being dry at night so I started a reward chart (gold stars and treat after 7) which really helped, along with him finally settling at the new nursery.
