Any other ‘late’ crawlers?

My little girl has just turned 10 months and has finally mastered crawling on all fours just today 🎉 I wasn’t particularly bothered, she can sit, pull to stand, roll or army crawl around and get into sitting position from lying down but the HV said at her 9 month review last week this is ‘late’ crawling 🤷🏻‍♀️ ….anyway, any other babies only just figuring it out now? I know some crawl at 6 months, but some never crawl at all and go straight to walking so I didn’t think of it as late 🙄

My boy isn't crawling yet, forwards that is. He's 9 and half months and has only recently learnt to push himself backwards and he's been able to pivot on his front really well for a few months but we're still struggling with going forwards. It'll come, he'll get there, whether he works out how to crawl, or decides to walk. My partner as a baby preferred, as his mum describes, 'creepy speed crawling' until after a year, his sister never crawled and just walked one day, also about a year. We have his review in just less of two weeks and I honestly don't expect him to have figured crawling by then so I'm expecting to be told he's 'late' on that too. He also can't sit from laying down yet and hasn't shown much interest in attempting to pull himself up, I know he could suddenly start doing these things overnight but I don't expect him to, I'm not too concerned about his gross motor at this age.

My daughter crawled 7 months, she's 10 months now standing holding onto her cot etc. All babies do things in their timings, don't let pressures off society or others make you feel any type of way. Some of these ppl go by the book but doesn't necessarily mean their right. Trust God's timings not a HV. Some of these ppl that give advice don't even have kids themselves.

So mine are almost one now and all different. One walks with support (toy, chair, anything), on crawls and stands and is almost working out how to live his feet and one is just crawling- no standing, no interest in it and no desire to. My eldest however was walking confidently by ten months and was a nightmare. Every child is very different. Mine show if well that three babies all identical born within three minutes can all have massive differences in development. All are fine though.

My little one still drags himself round like a zombie 😂 he can get on his knees but doesn’t. He prefers to stand and coast around that way instead

Thanks ladies 🥰 she’s my 5th and they’ve all been very different, my 5 year old didn’t walk until 18 months which would definitely be considered late, but I definitely didn’t think 10 months was that late for crawling!

My LO only just rolled both ways about 3 days ago and she is now almost 10 months old. She doesn't sit from lying down, can sit up well if I put her in that position. Doesn't crawl and doesn't even seem bothered however all she wants to do is stand. She can't pull herself up yet but is trying. However she is talking and can say quite a few words. My first was almost walking at this age. I think they are all different aren't they xx

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

I feel like just a milk cow

Hi I have a 16 day old via c section, I'm a FTM never having been around babies before as I am the youngest of my household and from a small family. My husband is fantastic with our little one. But ever since I've had the baby I just feel like the only thing I'm good for is producing milk. I feel disconnected from my husband like the only reason he's around is because am producing milk. We were having some issues before the baby and we're struggling it took a while to feel like he was onboard even though he said he was from the moment we found out. I dunno if I'm feeling like a spear part because I'm lacking confidence with baby or because I feel like he wouldn't mind being a single dad. Is this postpartum hormones or something else?

When does it get better?

I was crying on the phone with the perinatal mental health team today and the lovely lady, bless her, kept assuring me that it gets better. I kept telling her I hope so because people have been saying that since having my LO and it just feels like it keeps getting worse. She assured me it gets better....

Crawling

Did anyone’s little one start crawling yet? I feel like we are falling behind but really have no idea. I’m trying to introduce more floor time but it’s been rough because of having hardwood floors and our 80 lb oblivious to life dog. I got us a carpet for the living room and trying to put the dog out more when the weather allows. She sits like a pro and will roll to get the things she needs😅 but no real signs of crawling yet.
