My girl was struggling to get over her leg for a while, once she finally managed to get over she was crawling. First time she did it we were on a video call to my parents and she crawled towards otherwise i just let her figure it out
i left my daughter to it but just tried to always put things out of reach on the floor to encourage her to move if she wanted it, at the start she only crawled for wipes or my phone😂 stages of her crawling were rolling crawling at almost 21w, pushing backwards at 24w, thrusting forwards on hands and knees at almost 25w, army crawling at 26w, crawling at 28w best of luck xx
My wee boy has been rolling from his back to belly for monthssss but still cannot go from belly to back! He's been army crawling backwards for about a week now and has just started going forwards from yesterday!! Army crawling tho, not all 4s yet but won't be long. Sometimes he goes up on his hands and knees and rocks but dosent crawl just yet. He will be 9 months on 15th. They'll do it eventually! I think because iv a 2 year old my baby is more determined to get his toys etc 🤣
Mine was rolling and sitting for a good 2-3 months and she could get her legs into crawling position but her arms seemed to be ‘weak’. But then one day she literally just got on hands and knees and went 😅 and then the day after she pulled herself fully up. My son had a much more gradual approach, was rocking on hands and knees for a couple of months and was getting up and down from sitting. But my little girl just started doing it all in a matter of days when she hit about 7.5 months. So they can totally surprise you and do it seemingly out of the blue!
You can try propping her on all fours or have something that she likes in front of her to encourage her to move but babies go at their own pace, she’ll eventually click on it or might skip it. My boy is 8 months and he’s still army crawling for 2 months now only done rocking on all fours, but looks like he’s going to skip the traditional crawling as he’s now cruising around and soon be standing alone getting a walker to help encourage as my two girls 4 & 2 walked by 10 months
