First time mum here My baby will be 8 months soon and I will be back to work in December. How do I sleep train her to sleep through the night?

Also, any suggestions on how to train her to use a straw cup and I need a suggestion on a playgroup that is suitable for her age in Harlow so that she can start mixing with others.
