Baby engaged?

I've been having a lot of pressure recently down below and I had a growth scan at 32 weeks, I was told my baby's head is literally buried in my pelvis, I wasn't surprised because of the pressure I'm feeling. I also noticed and my friends and family have said my bump has dropped. Babies head in pelvis I've searched it and it's telling me he's head is engaged, does anyone know if this is this the case? I am slightly scared as my previous babies didn't engage till around 37 and 38 weeks Now I'm panicking 😂

It can happen at any time during the 3rd trimester. Apparently I didn't engage until 40/41 weeks, then arrived at 42!! And I was a massive 9Ibs 3oz baby so my mum really went through it!! 🤣

@India ooo ok thank you!! I just really panicked myself and even washed everything today ready just in case 😂😂😂. My first was 38 weeks fully engaged and he came a week later, my second was 37 weeks and came at 40+3. You wouldn't think I've got 2 already 🙃😂 it's a big age gap so I definitely have forgotten everything lol. Bless your mum tho!!

The last 2 scans I've had baby has been head down which has been from 27 weeks and a midwife also confirmed they were Head down yesterday when being monitored. I'm definitely with you on the pressure it hurts 😅 but they are still moving alot so I don't believe they are head down all the time and I know that babys can literally flip at any time 🤣

@Georgia it's a weird old feeling right? 😂 I just don't remember feeling like this, this early on with my other 2! He has been head down since 20 weeks and I have had regular scans due to growth but the last one said he's right in my pelvis now like don't I know it 😆 it just scared me a little as I'm only 32 weeks! X

My baby has been consistently head down and “low in the pelvis” since 15 weeks. Had scans at 15 weeks, 18 weeks, 20 weeks, 22 weeks, 28 weeks and 32 weeks and been head down and low in every one. I’ve had horrible pressure, head butting me in the pubic bone and constantly pressing on my bladder for the majority of this pregnancy. No one has ever suggested he could come early though x

Same, my baby has been head down for a while (I’m 29 + 4) and my bump has always been really low. The bladder pain is horrendous and it doesn’t make walks easy! It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re going to come any sooner - I’m taking it as a healthy sign he’s unlikely to be breech… 🤞🏼

I’ve had pressure from him being head down since the last month & 1/2 of second trimester and he dropped further into pelvis about week 30 (I’m 33 tomorrow) but occasionally he still does somersaults or at least he was until maybe last week

With subsequently babies they can bob in an outt odd rhe pelvis for weeks xx

@Daisy honestly I cannot stop going to the toilet every 20 minutes it's sooo annoying 😂 and the pressure is unreal!! But that's good I just panicked as I say I didn't have this with my other 2 x

I had two scans one on Sunday and one on Tuesday and baby was head down on one and breech on the other. So I wouldn't worry to much untill closer to due date as they still have a lot of room to move
