keep going or quit?

I’m 4.5 months pp & exclusively pump. For the first 2ish months, I had a large oversupply but once 3 months hit, my supply took a dip and I’m getting about half of what I used to get. That’s been defeating for me but also lately I’m having a hard time finding the time to be able to pump more than 4-5x per day. Should I keep pumping or let my supply continue to decrease and switch to formula once my freezer stash is gone (which is enough for maybe a month or so). What would you do?? 💕

Personally id push through another half month and then use your stash. That will get you to 6 months and then you will be introducing some solids and can switch to formula for the milk feedings

@Megan that is a good idea! thank you 🥰

So it’s 100% up to you I exclusively pumped till my son was about 7 months old. I had trouble finding the time my supply would go back and forth and I was exhausted. It was a struggle to stop pumping but personally I feel sooooo much better and I’m happier now that I don’t pump anymore just because I have more time to focus on my son and my well being. It’s definitely up to you. I know a lot of ppl say make it to the 4-6 months at least for breast milk but personally it’s all up to the mom and whatever position she is in and what is best for her.
