@Rebecca thank you! My digital test says 1-2 weeks ☺️ I wasn’t sure if you needed to wait until 6 weeks to be sure!
You don't need to wait a certain amount of time. If you just Google your local area and maternity services most places now you fill in a form online then they contact you
You don’t have to wait but you might not get contacted until you’re a little further along like 6+ weeks.
I think it also depends where you plan to get your care from. I went through IVF to have my baby, so I was somewhat monitored by my clinic until 7 weeks when I had my viability/dating scan, then I was released to my GP who later forwarded on a referral to antenatal care through the hospital I chose. Referral sent at 16w but care didn’t begin until a little after 20w. Some places won’t see you before X amount of weeks so you might need to give them a call and ask what their care plan looks like
Normally they recommend that you are at least 8 weeks pregnant.
Ring them and say you’ve had a positive test take a digital one and see how many weeks there is add 2 weeks onto that so say it comes up 1-2 your 4 weeks pregnant then they will book you in x
