Rotavirus vaccine while baby has mucousy poops

Hi mamas did you give your baby the rotavirus vaccine eventhough they had runny poops / diarrhea due to cows milks protein allergy?

Yeah and I’m glad I did get my daughter vaccinated. She was hospitalised with rota virus in April and ended up spending a week in there with a feeding tube was awful! X

Omg @Sophie did she get hospitalised after the vaccine or after getting rotavirus later? I really hope she is ok! I want to get the vaccine but have been delaying it as my LO is still having runny poos everytime she feeds - was this the case with you?

She got rotavirus about 3 months after having the vaccine. My daughter has always had runny poos, never really had a solid one in her life. I’d defo get your little one the vaccine! If my daughter hadn’t of had she would have been so much worse. I’d speak to your GP surgery and see what they say about it x
