Sleep regressing?/early wake ups?

Is there a 9 month regression? We’ve gone from sleeping 6/7 - 6. He is now waking at 5am every morning? He’s also starting to fight his afternoon nap 😮 surely he’s not ready to drop another nap. Our schedule currently is; Wake 5.15 Nap 8.30/9 (2 hours) Nap 2/2.30 (30 min) Bed 6.30 He has just learnt to crawl last week also, I know some say this can disturb their sleep.

Following. Sounds exactly like our schedule, and dealing with the same thing. She was sleeping. Through the night and we’d weaned all feeds, now waking from 4am 😭

Following. Sounds similar as my LO is waking up 3 - 4 hours before his usual wake time. I’m currently running on 3.5 hours of sleep this morning lol

Yes we’re waking up early here too but we have 30 minute nap at 9 and then bigger nap later on in day.

Yes. My girl is waking up an hour or two earlier than usual, is harder to settle and is waking frequently during the night. Prior to this she was mostly sleeping through, perhaps waking once for one feed.

Yeah we’re the same, one of my twins is waking at 5ish, I can thankfully get her back to sleep in my arms (not that I get sleep) not sure if it has to do with 8 months or that perhaps because the sun is coming up earlier?

Yes same here and he’s also trying to drop the afternoon nap too or if he gets to tired he usually has an afternoon nap every other day.

My Bub is 9 months has been waking at 5 am the past few weeks also 😩 he naps 3 times a day though and won’t drop a nap or is just miserable Usually has 1.5 hours nap in the morning A 30 min lunch nap 1.5 hours nap in the arvo around 4 and then goes to bed by 7 pm

@Karly we took a good couple of weeks dropping from 3 to 2 but I would highly recommend it now that’s he’s 9 months. Also is the last nap starting or ending at 4? We cut all sleep off at 3.30/4

@Aimee sometimes he will sleep until 5pm 😩 I definitely want to cut that middle of the day nap and move the arvo one shorter I’m just struggling with his grumpiness haha

@Karly if it helps we moved bedtime to 6pm when we were dropping naps just to help us get through and this was so helpful. I think we even did 5.30 once. And I always expected him to wake up earlier & he never did. Babies work well with early bed times quite often.
