Hair extensions with metal bonds during c section

Help! Does anyone have hair extensions with metal bonds and needed a c section? I am not planned to have a section but you never know how labour is gonna go, and I’m not sure if it’s allowed or would cause a problem?! Please let me know your experiences!

I'm no medical expert but I don't really see how they would be an issue. You can always ask your doc to make sure 😊

I read somewhere about possible issues with magnetic fields and cauterization during surgery? Just wondered if anyone had experience of it. I’d hate to have to get them taken out unnecessarily but then don’t wanna cause myself or the medical team problems if I end up needing an emergency section 😂

They let me keep on my nose ring for my C-section so I’d think it would be ok.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
