As needed babysitting?

Hi! I start work again next week after my maternity leave. I work from home and have a somewhat laid back job but might need childcare during work meetings. We can’t afford daycare or a regularly scheduled nanny. I was thinking of trying to use a babysitter as needed. I know there are apps where you can have local babysitters apply but to actually speak to the babysitters you have to pay a bunch of money on the app to subscribe and get the messaging feature. Which kind of defeats the purpose of saving money. Any suggestions on finding reliable and safe babysitters in the Kyle, TX area? My job is letting me settle in a bit for a few weeks and then we have holiday breaks so I have some time before my schedule will get a bit more demanding.

I would be interested if you were ok with me bringing my almost 1 year old. I take her with me to watch another family in the area. I would not be available on Wednesdays or Fridays as those are the days I work for the other family. My profile on here doesn’t give much info about me but I could give you references!?

I’d check out June Care, the app! I’m not active on there currently bc I got a job but I’d see if there’s babysitters who can come to your house and help for those days you need help!
