When should I be concerned about speech? (Or lack of)

We have lots of babbling every single day and he says mommy/daddy although I’m not sure if actively is saying these to us or not. He has copied the word car and dog but wouldn’t do it if I asked. I’ve read online 20 words between 12-18 months. Were 14 months so I know a bit to go but I’m panicking

I don’t have any advice as such but august baby here and exactly the same type of speech x

My little girl is almost 15 months and only says ca for car, mumu dada and tata for bye

My LO is 14 months old and only says Da-da-da , ca-caaa and ma- mama sometimes. His just not interested, we do reading, singing songs and activities daily, he interacts but doesn’t want to say anything . He never clapped or wave hi or by . He was an early mover, and since he turned 1 and started walking he loves exploring everything and just doesn’t pay attention to the rest . If by 18 months old he is not improving I will have him checked and see what else can we do to help him out . I just think they are going through so much at this stage that probably some of them just need a bit some more time xx

Mine doesn’t say mama or dada yet but can make a few animal sounds and that’s it 😬 He is learning so much else though that I think talking has just taken a back seat for now. 18 months is when they say to get it checked out xx
