Crawling backwards

So my LG is just over 7 months now. And she has learnt to crawl, but backwards and that’s it 😂 I’m so proud of her for this age don’t get me wrong but anyway I can help her go forward? She gets so frustrated she can’t get it us. I put toys in front of her that she wants, I crawl next to her to show her, I try to help her arms to go forwards but her legs don’t follow and she face plants. I don’t want to push her to do something she isn’t ready but the tantrums she has at this age are something else 🙈🙈 she deffo has her mumma’s attitude for sure!!

That’s quite normal for little ones to crawl backwards first.. just keep practising with her and she’ll get there soon enough 😊 x

My little girl went backwards for about 2 weeks before working out how to go forwards haha. Definitely normal and not something to worry about. I never found a way to help her go forward, one day she just did it x

Ahhh ok thank you ladies!! I will let her do her thing backwards 🙈 haha x

I would suggest putting her favorite toy in front of her on the ground once she starts crawling backwards it might encourage her to get her body moving in the right direction forward , but also this is so cute and she is very advanced ! 😊

@Caymen aww thank you. I’m clueless when it comes to what they should be doing! And thank you. Her favourite toy is my hair so I guess I’ll try that 😅 x

My little girl is just over 7 months and doing exactly the same. Yesterday she started rocking backwards and forwards on the spot so I’m hoping she’s about to go forwards! Xx
