Anti reflux milk

Hi so my little boy is 4 months old but 10 weeks corrected since we switched to normal formula he's been so unsettled and like a different baby he's had a course of baby gaviscon but that didnt really help so we saw the GP today and he said to put him on anti reflux milk as recommended by the neonatal team, I was just wondering what peoples experience is with anti reflux milk as I was always told its not great for babies, thanks in advance Pic for attention

Ive never heard anything about it not being good? Could you fill me in on that? We went onto it after trying different things for my little ones reflux and she is a different baby. She never throws up any more, been a real god send! Feel like she is putting weight on well now too. She was 5 weeks early too so has always been on the smaller size.

@Josie I've just always been told that the different milks such as comfort and anti reflux aren't great and can cause things like constipation although I've not really seen any studies or anything about it I think it's just one of those things that people say but don't provide any proof! Im glad it's helped your little girl and I'm really hoping it helps my youngest

@Riley my little one has definitely become constipated by the milk but i think thats just down to the milk actually being thick! Ive been given some laxatives by the drs to help with it but they said he bowel movement should go normal when she starts weaning!

Our boy was on it and after a week or so he was like a different child! Really helped sooooo much, such a big weight off our shoulders xx

You can try carobel milk thickener instead. Can get it on prescription or purchase yourself to give it a try first instead of using the comfort reflux milk. May help!
