Walking - how long

Hello! My son’s been crawling for 5 months now. (He’s 13 months). Been pulling stand for 4, cruising around furniture / supported for probably 1.5 months. He’s been standing independently probably for a month but always with a toy / doesn’t realize it and after using something to push up. The last few days he FINALLY stood from the middle of the floor confidently and can do it for minutes. How long do you think til he starts taking steps / walking? I truly don’t think he’s had much interest bc he’s a FAST crawler and climber

He may start walking any day now. But sometimes it takes time.

My daughter crawls a lot she is walking taking steps but not fully yet she is wobbly but she is doing so good . She will be 14 months on Thursday . Every child is different though 🥰😁

Impossible to guess. My girl started pulling up at 6 months and walking at 10.5. It started with standing straight up for a second and then plopping back down. That lasted about a week before she actually took a few steps.

I should add my older boys went from cruising furniture to taking steps alone. They never did the standing in place thing. Both started walking after 12 months.

Thank you all!!! I’m fine whenever he walks since every baby is different. We try not to rush him on things!

Exactly same as yours.. I thought she would walk earlier cause she has been crawling for sooo long. She just started standing from the middle of the floor last week and she took 3 independient steps two times since then..
