Also could it be the car seat? I’ve seen some people say they changed seats and their little ones were much happier!

@Alice thank you ☺️ i will try some nursery rhymes, i just changed the car seat and looks huge and comfortable..even when my partner is driving and i’m in the back w him ..he always wants me to hold him ..which isn’t safe or ideal but i’ve done it and he may got used to it unfortunately..

My little one is the exact same! I dread any car journey!! Also have tried a few different car seats and no change for us. I second the Happy Song and singing, it helps a bit for us. Also I have a busy book which keeps him happy for all of 5 minutes but it helps!! xx
My little one also hates going in the car now and I agree it's so stressful. We play the music from In The Night Garden (there's a Spotify playlist) and sometimes that calms him down x
Definitely agree with the other ladies, find a song/tv theme tune/story that your little one loves and play it on repeat. Only thing that distracted my daughter enough for me to drive safely. Unfortunately she continued to hate being in the car till she was 2 so you have my sympathy 😅
This sounds really stressful I’m so sorry! Have you tried music? Nursery rhymes etc. A few people have said they play The Happy Song by Imogen Heap x
