I'm going to loose my mind

@J girl, if she can't get a toy out of the toy box of if something gets stuck or if I walk out the room she crys like I'm loosing it

Omg, same here!!! I read somewhere that they are “discovering” anger 🥲🥹 and that when something doesn’t go their way, they’re very upset and starting getting angry over this. The article said, that this should “only” last a couple of weeks.. so let’s see Is she also sleeping a little bad since this?

And with this process, they also get clingy again and just want to be held

@Wendy French mine does the same. For the toys I just calmly tell her to try again, she can do it! It she try’s a few times and still can’t I help a little bit still let her do it. As for leaving the room, mine cry’s when I step over the gate… Ive been working on half stepping and just giving praise and calming words and saying you can see me I’m still right here and then I just take steps and repeat. If I leave the room I make it sort of fun like peek a boo a couple times and when I come back I say yay and just try to make it a game if that all makes sense

Whenever my 12 month old daughter gets worked up when I take something away that I don’t want her to play with, I try to replace it with a toy or something interesting for her to distract her. It works pretty well as of now
