Speech question

Over the last couple of days my son’s vocabulary has started to take off, and he’s really chatting and absorbing everything… with that being said he’s started almost stuttering..? Idk if that’s even the right word.. he repeats the same word over a few times before he finishes his thought.. “Mama.. mama.. mama.. mama.. mama I love you!” “Look.. look.. look.. look at the ball!” Is this a normal thing..? Or should I talk to someone about this?? I’m a first time mom and I’m not sure what’s in the “normal” category. 😫

My daughter is a big talker too and I want to say she’s done some of this, I wouldn’t worry unless it’s sticks around for several months, their brains just seem to get hyper fixated or something. My daughter will pick a little phrase and just say it repeatedly.

My toddler does this sometimes too, she just get stuck on a word sometimes. I think its just their way of trying to get the words out

My girl went through this phase. She speaks in full sentences now. When we started noticing it happening we would stop her and then say “take a belly breath” and after she did we asked what she wanted to say and it always came out. I freaked out the first time it started thinking she had a stutter. But belly breaths has helped immensely!

I’m not entirely sure, sometimes it sounds like my son is talking faster than he can think through what he actually wants to say. I can almost see the gears turning as he tries to form a sentence 😂 he’ll usually stop for a second and then once he’s thought through he’ll say it just fine
